We was tasked with rebranding the Excel brand and redesigning its landing page, which also serves as the main page handling all the previous edition pages, while respecting its old visual identity. We noticed several minor and major mistakes that needed to be addressed. However, since the old branding had been in use for a long time, We aimed to create something that looked better but still respected the original identity. Our first step was using the existing branding and event images as a mood board.

Responsive design ensures the site works seamlessly across all devices, enhancing user experience and accessibility. Simple layouts make development faster, easier to debug, and scalable for future updates.

By using a grid-based system, scalable components, and clear spacing, designs remain consistent and efficient. Simplified structures also improve performance, reduce complexity, and help developers focus on delivering a polished product. A clean design ensures usability for users and adaptability for developers.

We completed the project in 20 days and learned the importance of design systems and consistency. Creating custom assets for each part of the website significantly enhanced the overall experience.
